An auto service involves maintenance procedures being undertaken on your vehicle at set intervals to ensure its safety, reliability and longevity. These intervals are set out by your vehicle’s manufacturer. They are typically displayed in either time intervals or kilometre intervals and your vehicle will have this displayed on your instrument panel. During your auto service, our technicians will check over 150 components as part of your vehicle’s inspection. These include:

• Interior and exterior lights assessment
• Full scan of all Electronic Control Modules for fault codes logged
• Engine oil and filter replacement
• Washer and wiper operation
• Brake discs / rotors and pad measurement and check
• Steering and suspension inspection
• Testing of Brake Fluid for moisture content
• Testing of coolant for Glycol content
• Exhaust inspection
• Engine bay inspection and possible auxiliary drive belt replacement
• Tyre tread depth measurement and assessment
• All fluids are checked for condition and levels corrected

An auto service does not include repairs. The purpose of an auto service is to maintain your vehicle’s safety, reliability and identify any issues that may need attention. If your mechanic finds an issue, they will discuss with you the possible options to rectify it. During this process, your mechanic will quote you on the cost of repair. Therefore, the cost of a service does not include any additional repairs you might need.

New Vehicles

New German vehicles under warranty need to be serviced at the specified interval times, otherwise you run the risk of voiding your vehicle’s warranty. Our team takes great pride in using quality parts that are of original manufacturer standard (OEM) and in line with warranty requirements. This quality extends to the oils and lubricants we use at our workshop which are formulated for German vehicles.

Older Vehicles

Depending on the manufacturer of your car, we will service it in accordance with its specifications. As cars age, they will begin to present with areas of that may require attention. This is referred to as Condition Based Servicing (CBS). CBS means your German vehicle will always be serviced with reference to its specific condition to ensure its longevity.
